Stays·ryokan·Hakone & Mount FujiPlaceholder
A ryokan above a river gorge in Hakone, each room with its own bath of spring water.
Nagi means the calm after wind. The inn sits above a gorge, and you hear the river all night. Rooms are large and plain, with tatami, low beds or futon, and a cypress bath on the balcony.
Dinner is served in a private room: sashimi from Odawara, mountain vegetables, a hot-pot of Hakone tofu. In the morning, take the bath before breakfast while the valley is still in shadow.
